Introduction

Fanime Marketplace respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

This policy explains how copyright holders can report infringing content and how vendors may respond to such claims.

How to File a DMCA Takedown Request

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on Fanime Marketplace without authorization, please submit a DMCA takedown request to support@fanimemarket.com with the following information:

  • Your full legal name and, if applicable, the name of the company you represent.
  • A description of the copyrighted work that has been infringed, including a link to the original material (if available).
  • A direct link (URL) to the allegedly infringing content on Fanime Marketplace.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient).

What Happens After a DMCA Request is Submitted?

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown request, Fanime Marketplace will:

  • Review the claim for completeness and accuracy.
  • Notify the vendor who uploaded the allegedly infringing content.
  • Remove or disable access to the reported content if the claim is valid.
  • Allow the vendor to submit a counter-notification if they believe the takedown was in error.

How to File a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongfully removed, you may submit a DMCA counter-notification to support@fanimemarket.com including:

  • Your full legal name and contact information.
  • A description of the removed content and its previous location.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in your location (or where Fanime Marketplace operates) and agreeing to accept service of process from the original complainant.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

After receiving a valid counter-notification, Fanime Marketplace may restore the content unless the original complainant files a legal action against the vendor.

Repeat Infringers

Fanime Marketplace reserves the right to terminate vendor accounts that receive multiple copyright infringement claims.
